X-Ray Technician in Cleveland, OH

This opportunity is ideal for a skilled X-ray Technologist seeking to advance their expertise in a collaborative healthcare environment. This contract position lasts for 13 weeks and is designed for an individual who excels in fast-paced settings and has a passion for patient-focused imaging services.

Schedule:

• 5 shifts per week, each 8 hours
• Evenings, 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm
• Specific workdays will be determined during the interview

Qualifications:

• Valid certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Proven experience in X-ray imaging, with the ability to work efficiently and independently
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to provide excellent patient care
• Ability to adapt to new systems and workflow processes as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality X-ray examinations according to physician orders and departmental protocols
• Prepare and position patients to ensure accurate imaging results and patient comfort
• Maintain equipment in proper working order and follow all safety protocols
• Accurately document exam procedures and patient data in the electronic medical record system
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals for optimal patient outcomes
• Ensure a clean and safe work environment, adhering to infection control and safety standards
