Key Qualifications:
- Current certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT or equivalent required)
- Valid state radiologic technologist license
- Proven experience operating X-ray equipment in a clinical setting
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety standards and best practices
- Excellent attention to detail for capturing high-quality images
- Strong communication skills for patient instruction and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Operate X-ray machines and associated imaging technology to produce diagnostic images
- Position patients properly for accurate imaging while ensuring comfort and safety
- Adhere to strict protocols for infection control and patient confidentiality
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to interpret and deliver results efficiently
- Regularly inspect and maintain imaging equipment in accordance with safety guidelines
- Provide compassionate care, helping to reassure and educate patients throughout procedures
