X-Ray Technician - Clinton, TN

Embark on an exciting opportunity as an X-ray Technologist serving patients and collaborating with a dynamic radiology team. This contract position is designed for professionals who are passionate about medical imaging and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule:

• 13-week contract assignment
• Alternating shifts: One week of three 12-hour shifts, followed by a week with four 10-hour shifts
• Every other weekend required

Qualifications:

• Current ARRT(R) certification required
• Valid BLS certification
• At least 1 year of recent experience working as an X-ray Technologist in a clinical setting
• Proficient knowledge of imaging procedures and radiation safety
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities:

• Produce high-quality X-ray images following physician orders and established protocols
• Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and safety at all times
• Accurately document patient information and maintain imaging records
• Maintain and calibrate equipment, reporting any malfunctions immediately
• Adhere to infection control procedures and compliance standards
• Collaborate with radiologists, providers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
• Provide clear instructions and support to patients and families
