X-Ray Technician - Cordova, Tennessee

Step into an essential position as an X-ray Technologist, utilizing your radiology expertise to provide critical diagnostic imaging in a dynamic clinical setting. This contract role offers a 13-week assignment, beginning November 23rd, where you will play a key part in patient care delivery.

Schedule/Hours:

• Saturday through Wednesday
• 5 shifts per week, 8 hours per shift
• No on-call requirements
• Holidays worked only if aligned with your set schedule

Key Qualifications:

• Active ARRT certification is mandatory
• Current BLS certification
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience as an X-ray Technologist
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records is highly preferred
• Must reside greater than 50 miles from the assignment location

Core Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray imaging procedures as ordered by physicians
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality throughout the entire imaging process
• Maintain proper documentation and accurate patient records, utilizing EPIC when applicable
• Collaborate closely with radiologists and the healthcare team to deliver timely and precise results
• Follow established protocols and regulatory guidelines to uphold department standards
• Implement infection prevention practices and equipment maintenance routines
