X-Ray Technician in Corryton, TN

Schedule:

• Alternating weeks: 3x12-hour shifts one week, 4x10-hour shifts the next
• Required availability every other weekend

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience as an X-Ray Technologist
• Active certification with ARRT(R)
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Proven skills operating X-ray equipment and following all relevant safety guidelines
• Ability to excel in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality diagnostic radiographic procedures per physicians’ requests
• Maintain accurate patient records and comply with all documentation requirements
• Ensure proper patient positioning and equipment functioning for optimal image quality
• Practice patient safety at all times, including following radiation safety protocols
• Communicate clearly with patients, providing instructions and reassurance during procedures
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals for best patient outcomes
• Participate in department quality assurance and improvement activities
