X-Ray Tech - Cranston, RI

Step into a key role providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services as an X-ray Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment. As a valued part of the imaging team, you'll support patient care through expert operation of advanced imaging equipment, focusing on efficient, accurate X-ray studies.

Schedule:

• 5 evenings per week, 8-hour shifts: 3:30pm-12:00am (Wednesday through Sunday)
• No on-call responsibilities

Qualifications:

• Current ARRT(R) certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Rhode Island Radiologic Technologist License (applications in progress will be considered)
• Proficiency working with a variety of X-ray equipment (Philips, Carestream, GE systems, portables, and C-Arms)
• Strong attention to detail and patient safety
• Commitment to maintaining a high standard of imaging quality and accuracy

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic X-rays and portable studies, ensuring adherence to all safety and regulatory guidelines
• Clarify exam requests; work closely with physicians, nurses, and patients to deliver prompt, professional service
• Accurately position patients and calibrate equipment according to exam needs
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of equipment, promptly addressing operational issues
• Document procedures, maintain records, and uphold patient confidentiality at all times
