Advance your career as a Radiologic Technologist in a dynamic imaging environment. This contract opportunity involves performing X-ray imaging for a high-volume facility with an average of 180 exams per day, serving both inpatient and outpatient populations. Work with state-of-the-art technology, including OEC c-arms, O-arms, Shimadzu and GE Portables, and Carestream ER systems. Candidates should be comfortable providing care in diverse clinical settings such as transplant, cardiac, critical care units, operating rooms, and emergency departments.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 3x12-hour shifts or 4x10-hour shifts per week (rotating weekend shifts required)
  • Must be flexible with scheduling to ensure optimal time off
  • Some on-call responsibility overnight on weekdays and 12-hour shifts on weekends, with a 1-hour response time
  • Up to 7 days of approved time off
  • Holidays may be worked if scheduled

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in X-ray imaging
  • ARRT (R) certification, BLS, and appropriate state license required
  • C-arm experience and proficiency with portable equipment necessary
  • Willingness to learn O-arm operations if not already experienced
  • Experience with Cerner EMR and McKesson (Change Healthcare) PACS preferred
  • Attention to detail and ability to adapt across hospital units, including OR settings
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct X-ray exams for diverse patient populations, including critical and trauma cases
  • Safely operate advanced imaging equipment to deliver high-quality diagnostic images
  • Collaborate with supervisors and fellow technologists to provide exceptional patient care
  • Float between various hospital units as needed
  • Maintain accurate electronic health records and utilize PACS effectively
