X-Ray Technician in Crestwood, KY

This contract opportunity is ideal for radiologic technologists with expertise in X-ray imaging who are seeking a day shift schedule and a varied clinical environment.

Schedule/Hours:

• 10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, Tuesday through Friday

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of radiologic technologist experience
• Valid ARRT certification
• State license required
• BLS certification
• Vistelar training (can be provided on-site)
• Proficient in C-arm operation and portable radiography
• Detail-oriented, with willingness to learn O-arm technology if not already proficient
• Open to first-time travelers and eager learners

Role Overview:

• Perform high-volume imaging, averaging 180 exams per day, across a range of patient types: inpatient (including transplant, cardiac, critical care, and OR) and outpatient (e.g., athletes, ER trauma cases)
• Deliver quality X-ray imaging in diverse suites: main floor, ER, outpatient, and with portable equipment
• Participate in a supportive team with supervisors and other radiologic technologists available for guidance
• Work with advanced equipment (Shimadzu and GE Portables, Carestream ER, OEC c-arms, O-arms) and technology platforms (Cerner EMR, McKesson/Change Healthcare PACS)
• Float throughout hospital areas, including the OR, as needed
• Complete comprehensive orientation, including three days of unit-specific training

• Possible weekend and on-call rotation with 1-hour response time for critical situations
• Required to work holidays when they fall on scheduled shifts
• Flexible scheduling with potential for up to 7 days of approved time off

$2,064 - $2,176/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
