X-Ray Technician - Crestwood, Kentucky

Deliver vital imaging services in a dynamic healthcare environment with a high patient volume averaging 266 patients daily. As an X-ray Technologist, you'll perform general x-ray exams and assist with ortho, traumas, and OR procedures in a setting serving inpatient, outpatient, ER, and OR populations. Enjoy the opportunity to experience various areas of the hospital, floating as needed, with strong departmental support.

Schedule/Hours:

• 4 x 10-hour shifts or 3 x 12-hour shifts
• Weekend rotation: Every 3rd weekend (variable based on position)
• No on-call required
• Holiday coverage as part of the rotation

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of imaging experience required
• Current BLS certification
• ARRT registration
• Active State license (KBMIRT)
• General x-ray, ortho, trauma, OR (preferred), and portable experience
• O-arm and OR experience preferred, but not required
• Will consider first-time travelers

Responsibilities:

• Conduct high-quality diagnostic x-ray exams in inpatient, outpatient, ER, and OR settings
• Provide portable imaging and respond to trauma cases as needed
• Float to ER, OR, and throughout the hospital per department needs
• Adhere to safety protocols while using equipment including Shimadzu, Konica, Fuji, Carestream, GE and Phillips c-arms, and Medtronic o-arm
• Chart and track exams via Cerner EMR
• Collaborate with hospitalist, intensivist, and dedicated support teams (phlebotomy, IV/VAT, RT)

$2,064 - $2,176/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
