X-Ray Technician in Edison, NJ

Step into a vital clinical role, supporting patient diagnostics as an Imaging – X-ray professional. This contract opportunity involves working across day, evening, and night shifts, providing critical radiologic care in a dynamic healthcare setting. Your role will include coverage every other weekend, ensuring seamless service for patients and clinical teams.

Schedule:

• Multiple shifts available: day, evening, and night
• Every other weekend required

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Certified X-ray Tech/Radiologic Technologist credentials
• Proficiency with Siemens and Philips imaging systems
• Experience using EPIC electronic medical records
• Strong understanding of radiologic safety standards
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to patient care
• Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate imaging equipment to accurately capture X-ray images as ordered by physicians
• Position patients appropriately, ensuring comfort and optimal image quality
• Adhere closely to protocols for radiation safety and infection control
• Document exams, patient information, and technical factors in the EPIC system
• Communicate results and observations to radiologists or referring providers promptly
• Maintain imaging equipment and coordinate necessary service or repairs
• Support patients by explaining procedures and addressing concerns
