X-Ray Technician - Elyria, Ohio

This contract opportunity offers the chance to work in various clinical areas such as outpatient, inpatient, Emergency Department, portable imaging, fluoroscopy, and support for surgical/OR procedures. Schedule:

• Rotating shifts including 10:30am–7:00pm, 1:00pm–9:30pm, 2:00pm–10:30pm, 3:00pm–11:00pm, 5:30pm–1:00am, and 11:00pm–7:00am
• Every other weekend: 8:30am–5:00pm
• Flexibility for holiday coverage required

Requirements:

• BLS certification
• Active ARRT credentials
• Valid Ohio Radiologic Technologist license
• Previous hospital experience in X-ray and portable imaging preferred
• Ability to work efficiently within fast-paced acute care settings
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic X-ray exams for outpatients, inpatients, and emergency cases
• Operate imaging equipment, including portables and fluoroscopy units
• Assist in surgical and operating room imaging, as needed
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and radiology standards
• Document imaging procedures accurately within electronic medical records
• Provide compassionate patient interactions across varying acuity levels
