X-Ray Technician - Elyria, OH

Deliver critical diagnostic services and play a key role in patient care as an X-ray Technologist in a dynamic medical setting. In this contract role, you'll use your expertise to produce high-quality medical imaging, ensuring physicians have the diagnostic information needed to make impactful decisions for patient health.

Schedule:

• 5 evening shifts per week (8 hours each), 3pm–11pm
• Specific days to be confirmed during the interview process

Key Qualifications:

• Active ARRT certification required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Proficient skills with X-ray/Imaging equipment and procedures
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work independently and within a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and staff

Core Responsibilities:

• Operate radiologic equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images according to physician orders
• Position patients properly to obtain the most accurate imaging, considering patient comfort and safety
• Adhere strictly to radiation safety guidelines and departmental protocols
• Assist physicians in evaluating images and communicate findings as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations
• Support day-to-day workflow, including preparing rooms and equipment for patients and performing basic maintenance checks
