Provide mobile X-ray services including digital radiography and, if required, EKGs to healthcare facilities and nursing homes in the Fremont, CA area. This contract position involves traveling to various locations to perform physician-ordered exams ensuring technically competent and clinically diagnostic images for Radiologist interpretation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment to perform and process X-rays.
- Conduct EKGs when requested and transmit results to Cardiologists.
- Safely transport and maintain X-ray equipment and vehicle.
- Submit exam paperwork and billing documentation daily.
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, management, and healthcare staff.
Desired Qualifications:
- State licensure in radiologic technology.
- Experience with mobile imaging and portable X-ray equipment.
- Ability to maintain high-quality diagnostic imaging standards.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Capable of complying with physical demands including pushing/pulling up to 50-100 lbs.
