X-Ray Technician in Garland, TX

A healthcare facility is seeking a skilled candidate to provide expert imaging services as an X-ray Technologist on a 13-week contract assignment. This position offers a daytime schedule with consistent hours, perfect for those who value work-life balance.

Schedule:

• Shift: Days, 5x8s (Monday to Friday)
• Hours: 7:00am – 3:30pm
• No on-call requirements

Qualifications:

• Current certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Active Texas Radiologic Technologist license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Previous experience in X-ray imaging preferred
• Strong attention to detail and proficiency in radiologic procedures
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray examinations in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process
• Accurately position patients and operate X-ray equipment to achieve optimal results
• Evaluate images for clarity and completeness, assisting physicians in diagnosis
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and adherence to infection control procedures
• Document patient information, examination findings, and maintain accurate records
• Cooperate with clinical staff and provide excellent patient care at all times
