X-Ray Technologist in Gresham, OR

Step into a vital role that supports patient care through expert imaging services. This contract position focuses on performing X-ray examinations and assisting in imaging procedures with a primary weekend night schedule.

Schedule:

• 3x12 hour shifts (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
• Night shift: 6:30pm - 6:30am
• 13-week contract

Qualifications:

• Active certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Valid Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) license
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Previous experience as an X-ray Tech/Radiologic Technologist preferred

Role Responsibilities:

• Operate a range of imaging equipment, including Siemens, Carestream, and GE systems
• Perform routine and specialized X-ray procedures, including fluoroscopy and surgical cases, with a focus on accuracy and patient safety
• Collaborate closely with physicians and nursing staff to provide timely, high-quality diagnostic images
• Maintain precise documentation and follow all established protocols for infection, equipment operation, and patient privacy
• Respond promptly to emergent situations and adapt to varying case loads throughout the shift
