X-Ray Technician - Gretna, VA

You’ll be practicing in a vibrant, accredited 250-bed academic community hospital renowned as the area’s designated Chest Pain Center and Advanced Primary Stroke Center.

Schedule/Hours:

• Bi-weekly orientations on Tuesdays
• Full-time contract assignment with potential for extension

Qualifications:

• Proven expertise in X-ray imaging
• Current ARRT certification (or equivalent)
• Valid state licensure
• Previous experience in a hospital setting strongly preferred
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

• Produce high-quality radiographic images using advanced imaging technology
• Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout procedures
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and the clinical team to support accurate diagnostics
• Maintain accurate documentation according to hospital policies and standards
• Troubleshoot and maintain imaging equipment
• Adhere to all radiation safety protocols and regulatory compliance requirements
