Qualifications & Experience:

• Proficient in performing X-ray imaging procedures, with proven clinical competence
• Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required
• Active state license to practice as a Radiologic Technologist
• Strong understanding of imaging equipment operation, patient safety, and positioning techniques
• Effective communication skills and a commitment to compassionate patient care
• Previous hospital or acute care experience preferred

Schedule:

• Orientation is bi-weekly on Tuesdays

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct diagnostic X-ray examinations as ordered by physicians, ensuring imaging accuracy and optimal image quality
• Prepare and position patients for procedures, providing clear instructions and reassurance throughout the process
• Maintain meticulous records and ensure accurate patient documentation in compliance with hospital standards
• Practice stringent infection control and safety protocols, including correct use of protective equipment
• Collaborate closely with radiologists, technologists, and nursing staff to facilitate seamless care delivery
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment, reporting any issues to appropriate personnel
• Participate in departmental meetings and continue ongoing professional development
