This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a dedicated imaging team at a 250-bed facility known for comprehensive care, including advanced cardiac, stroke, and surgical services. The hospital boasts specialized centers, such as the region’s only designated Chest Pain Center and Certified Advanced Primary Stroke Center, offering an outstanding environment for professional growth.

Bi-weekly orientation sessions are held on Tuesdays, providing a seamless start and integration into the clinical team.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology (active and in good standing)
• Proven competency in diagnostic X-ray procedures across all age groups
• Strong grasp of operation and maintenance of radiography equipment
• Adherence to ALARA principles and best practices in radiation safety
• Effective communication skills within interdisciplinary teams
• Flexibility to adapt to changing patient volumes and departmental needs
• Previous hospital-based imaging experience preferred

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality X-ray imaging following physician orders
• Prepare patients for procedures, providing compassionate care and instructions
• Accurately document studies, maintain imaging records, and adhere to privacy standards
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and support staff to deliver efficient patient care
• Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work area, reporting any equipment issues promptly
• Participate in ongoing quality assurance and improvement activities
