Key Responsibilities:
- Perform radiographic exams independently, ensuring patient safety and diagnostic quality.
- Manage imaging equipment, maintaining proper function and cleanliness.
- Obtain and assess clinical history, verify patient identity, and comply with procedural protocols.
- Provide patient care with attention to comfort, privacy, and age-appropriate techniques.
- Coordinate and instruct imaging students, offering constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with physicians and staff, following instructions and assisting as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold regulatory standards.
- Participate in ongoing education and quality control processes.
- Respond effectively to emergency situations and maintain life support equipment readiness.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- ARRT Radiography certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, pathology, patient positioning, and radiation protection.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of interacting professionally with patients and healthcare teams.
- Ability to function independently and manage multiple priorities calmly in a fast-paced environment.
