X-Ray Tech in Harrisburg, PA

A leading healthcare facility is seeking a skilled Imaging Professional with expertise in X-ray technology to provide exceptional radiology services for patients and clinicians. This contract opportunity is ideal for an experienced Radiologic Technologist who thrives in a fast-paced operating suite environment.

Schedule:

• 13-week assignment
• 5x8 hour shifts, evenings: 3pm–11pm, Monday through Friday
• Potential 1 weekday on-call per week

Qualifications:

• Current BLS certification
• ARRT(R) credential required
• Valid Pennsylvania Radiologic Technologist license
• Competency in operation of C-arm, O-arm, and portable X-ray units in a surgical setting
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to imaging safety protocols
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with surgical team members

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality diagnostic images using C-arm, O-arm, and portable equipment in and around the operating suite
• Ensure accurate patient positioning, clear image acquisition, and adherence to radiation safety standards
• Work alongside surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff to support imaging needs during procedures
• Maintain and document imaging records, abiding by regulatory and facility requirements
• Provide technical guidance to assist with intraoperative image interpretation as requested
• Participate in on-call rotations as scheduled to ensure timely imaging support
