X-Ray Technician in Harrisburg, PA

An experienced professional in X-ray imaging is needed for an assignment focused on delivering high-quality radiologic services in a dynamic hospital environment. This contract spans 13 weeks and requires expertise in a variety of imaging modalities, ensuring accurate diagnostic support for both patients and clinical teams.

Schedule/Hours

• 5 shifts of 8 hours each, evenings (3pm-11pm), Monday through Friday
• Potential on-call duty one day per week

Qualifications and Required Experience

• Valid ARRT (R) certification
• Active X-ray/Radiologic Technologist license for Pennsylvania
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Demonstrated proficiency with C-arm and O-arm systems in an operating suite
• Experience operating portable X-ray units in surgical settings
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Meticulous attention to patient safety and image quality

Key Responsibilities

• Operate X-ray, C-arm, O-arm, and portable radiology equipment to support diagnostic and intraoperative procedures
• Accurately capture images following physician instructions and established protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and surgical staff to facilitate excellent patient care
• Ensure proper documentation and image management within the hospital’s system
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in all imaging areas
• Remain prepared for a rotating on-call schedule as needed
