Radiology Technologist - Hershey, Pennsylvania

An exciting opportunity awaits a skilled radiologic technologist proficient in X-ray imaging to deliver exceptional patient care. This contracted role offers the chance to work with advanced equipment and collaborate within multidisciplinary surgical teams to provide critical imaging services.

Schedule/Hours:

• Five 8-hour evening shifts: 3:00pm – 11:00pm, Monday through Friday
• Occasional on-call coverage: 1 day per week

Required Qualifications:

• Current ARRT(R) certification
• Active Pennsylvania Radiologic Technologist license
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Demonstrated ability to operate complex imaging equipment, including C-arm, O-arm, and portable X-ray units in an operating suite
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Previous experience in a busy healthcare or hospital environment is preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality X-ray imaging for pre-, intra-, and post-operative assessments in surgical settings
• Collaborate closely with surgeons and medical staff to provide timely, accurate imaging during procedures
• Ensure efficient operation and maintenance of imaging equipment, adhering to safety and infection control protocols
• Prepare patients and assist with positioning to obtain optimal images while ensuring their comfort and privacy
• Accurately document all procedures and maintain compliance with regulatory standards
• Participate in departmental quality assurance initiatives and continuing education as required
