X-Ray Technician - Hershey, PA

An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced X-ray Technologist to support a leading imaging team through a 13-week contract assignment. This role specializes in performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures, focusing on patients in an operating suite and general care units. Candidates will work evening shifts and must demonstrate a commitment to patient safety and stellar imaging practices.

Schedule:

• 5x8 hour shifts: Evenings, 3pm–11pm, Monday through Friday
• Potential on-call coverage: 1 day per week

Qualifications:

• Current BLS certification is mandatory
• Registered with ARRT (R)
• Valid Pennsylvania Radiologic Technologist License
• Proficient in operating C-arm, O-arm, and portable radiography units within an operating suite
• At least one year of experience as an X-ray Tech/Radiologic Technologist preferred
• Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a broad range of X-ray imaging procedures accurately and efficiently, with a focus on intraoperative techniques
• Ensure adherence to all safety protocols, including radiation safety measures for patients and staff
• Maintain precise documentation and accurate records of all imaging performed
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, nursing staff, and other health professionals to provide optimal patient care during procedures
• Prepare, operate, and maintain radiologic equipment, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for use
• Respond to on-call duties as required, maintaining flexibility and reliability in fast-paced environments
