An excellent opportunity awaits for a skilled imaging professional with expertise in X-ray procedures. This contract role is designed for a dedicated Radiologic Technologist ready to contribute to a dynamic clinical team for a 13-week assignment.
Schedule:
- Four 10-hour shifts per week
- Day shift: 8:00 am – 6:30 pm
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active ARRT(R) certification required
- Current BLS certification
- Valid CA Fluoroscopy License
- Proven experience with mammography
- Demonstrated proficiency in producing quality X-ray images and working within a busy imaging department
- Strong communication and patient care skills, with the ability to adapt to diverse patient needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a range of X-ray examinations and mammography studies according to established protocols and physician orders
- Ensure safe imaging practices and proper use of equipment, including adherence to radiation safety standards
- Evaluate images for technical quality and assist radiologists as needed
- Maintains accurate documentation and patient records
- Provide clear instructions and compassionate support to patients throughout their imaging procedures
- Collaborate effectively with clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow and timely completion of studies
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment
