A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled X-ray Technologist with experience in Imaging-X-ray procedures. This contract position allows you to demonstrate your expertise in radiologic technology while supporting high-quality patient care in a collaborative environment.
Schedule:
- 13-week contract
- 5 shifts per week, 8 hours per shift
- Daytime hours: 8:00am – 4:30pm, Monday through Friday
Required Qualifications:
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Valid Ohio Radiologic Technologist License
- Previous experience with X-ray/imaging equipment and procedures
- Attention to safety protocols and patient privacy
- Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to compassionate care
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic radiologic (X-ray) procedures as ordered by healthcare providers
- Properly position patients and operate imaging equipment to obtain quality images
- Adhere to all safety procedures and infection control guidelines
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other medical staff to ensure effective workflow
- Provide clear instructions and reassurance to patients throughout the imaging process
