X-Ray Technician - Hilliard, OH

A rewarding opportunity awaits experienced X-ray Technologists and Radiologic Technologists skilled in imaging services. This contract position is ideal for professionals who are committed to high-quality patient care and can thrive in a dynamic clinical environment.

Schedule:

• 13-week contract
• Five 8-hour day shifts per week
• 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures according to physician orders and established protocols
• Ensure accurate patient positioning and image quality for optimal diagnostic value
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to infection control standards
• Verify patient identification and explain imaging procedures with compassion and clarity
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to deliver exceptional patient care
• Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records using appropriate software systems
• Maintain equipment, reporting any malfunctions or safety concerns promptly

Qualifications:

• Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
• Valid Ohio Radiologic License
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Prior experience as an X-ray Technologist in a clinical setting strongly preferred
• Demonstrated skill in operating X-ray imaging equipment and exposure to digital PACS systems
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
