A healthcare facility is seeking a skilled professional with expertise in Imaging—specifically X-ray—to step into a key technologist role for a 13-week contract assignment.
Schedule/Hours:
- Day shift: Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- 5x8s schedule with no on-call responsibilities
Qualifications:
- Valid ARRT certification required
- Active Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist licensure
- BLS certification (Basic Life Support) required and current
- Proven experience as an X-ray Tech/Radiologic Technologist in a clinical environment
- Detail-oriented with thorough knowledge of radiography best practices
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively work with patients and clinical staff
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray imaging procedures as ordered by providers
- Ensure accurate patient positioning and safe radiation practices
- Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment according to facility standards
- Uphold patient safety and comfort while clearly communicating procedure steps
- Maintain accurate imaging records and ensure compliance with HIPAA and hospital policies
- Work collaboratively with technologists, radiologists, and other healthcare members to deliver exceptional patient care
