Qualifications:
- Current Texas Radiologic Technologist license required
- Active ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
- Current, valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Proven experience in diagnostic imaging, specifically X-ray modalities
- Familiarity with contemporary radiologic equipment and imaging protocols
- Excellent patient interaction skills and the ability to communicate clearly with a multidisciplinary team
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to upholding patient safety and confidentiality
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnostic X-ray exams as ordered by physicians with a high standard of technical accuracy and patient care
- Prepare examination rooms and radiologic equipment, maintaining a clean and safe environment
- Adhere diligently to imaging protocols and safety procedures, including radiation safety guidelines
- Accurately document patient information, procedures, and imaging results in electronic medical records
- Support patients throughout the imaging process with clear instructions and compassionate care
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers to ensure optimal exam quality and timely reporting
- Adapt to fast-paced clinical environments and manage workflow efficiently during daytime shifts
