Qualifications:

  • Current Texas Radiologic Technologist license required
  • Active ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
  • Current, valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • Proven experience in diagnostic imaging, specifically X-ray modalities
  • Familiarity with contemporary radiologic equipment and imaging protocols
  • Excellent patient interaction skills and the ability to communicate clearly with a multidisciplinary team
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to upholding patient safety and confidentiality

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct diagnostic X-ray exams as ordered by physicians with a high standard of technical accuracy and patient care
  • Prepare examination rooms and radiologic equipment, maintaining a clean and safe environment
  • Adhere diligently to imaging protocols and safety procedures, including radiation safety guidelines
  • Accurately document patient information, procedures, and imaging results in electronic medical records
  • Support patients throughout the imaging process with clear instructions and compassionate care
  • Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers to ensure optimal exam quality and timely reporting
  • Adapt to fast-paced clinical environments and manage workflow efficiently during daytime shifts
