X-Ray Technician in Irvington, NJ

Schedule and Shift Information:

• Day, evening, and night shifts available
• Every other weekend required

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Current certification as an X-ray Technologist/Radiologic Technologist
• Proven skills in operating Siemens and Philips imaging equipment
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records for accurate documentation
• Strong understanding of positioning, safety protocols, and radiation protection
• Ability to collaborate with healthcare team members and respond effectively in urgent situations
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray procedures as ordered by physicians, ensuring patient comfort and safety
• Accurately operate and maintain Siemens and Philips imaging equipment
• Utilize EPIC for verifying orders, documenting procedures, and maintaining detailed patient records
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to support timely and precise patient diagnosis
• Follow all regulatory standards for infection prevention, patient privacy, and safety
• Prepare examination rooms and equipment, and assist patients throughout the imaging process
