Travel X-Ray Technician | Ithaca, New York

This travel assignment invites Imaging professionals, specifically X-ray Techs/Radiologic Technologists, to gain invaluable experience in a dynamic healthcare environment. Schedule/Hours:

• Two 16-hour shifts: Saturday and Sunday
• Day shifts, 7:00am – 11:00pm

Qualifications:

• Current ARRT certification (R) and state licensure as required
• Previous experience as an X-ray Tech/Radiologic Technologist preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Flexibility to adapt to new settings and protocols

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray exams in accordance with physician orders and facility guidelines
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during exams
• Accurately document procedures and maintain imaging equipment
• Collaborate with healthcare staff to deliver excellent patient care
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and infection control protocols
