Travel X-Ray Technician - Ithaca, New York

Schedule:

• 2 shifts per week (16 hours each)
• Saturday & Sunday, 7:00 am – 11:00 pm

This weekend X-ray Technologist assignment offers you the ability to broaden your clinical skills in a fast-paced hospital environment. Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• ARRT certification in Radiography (R)
• Current state licensure or eligibility as required
• Previous experience in a hospital imaging department preferred
• Expertise with digital and portable X-ray equipment
• Excellent communication skills with both patients and healthcare teams
• Flexibility and adaptability in fast-changing clinical situations

Primary Duties:

• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray imaging procedures with attention to patient safety and comfort
• Ensure accurate positioning and proper imaging techniques
• Effectively communicate findings and assist radiologists and physicians as needed
• Maintain accurate records and comply with all facility protocols and regulatory standards
