Qualifications:
- Current certification or registration as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent)
- State licensure or eligibility as required
- Proven proficiency in operating X-ray equipment and performing a range of X-ray procedures
- Ability to follow physician instructions and maintain patient safety throughout imaging processes
- Strong attention to detail for accurate imaging, documentation, and data entry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interaction with patients and team members
- Basic life support (BLS) certification preferred
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and position patients for X-ray examinations, ensuring comfort and safety
- Operate imaging equipment to capture high-quality radiographic images as ordered by physicians
- Maintain accurate records of patient procedures and update electronic medical records
- Adhere to all hospital protocols, infection control practices, and safety standards
- Assist in upholding a clean and organized imaging department
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective diagnosis and patient care
- Monitor equipment functionality and report maintenance needs promptly
