Qualifications:

  • Current certification or registration as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent)
  • State licensure or eligibility as required
  • Proven proficiency in operating X-ray equipment and performing a range of X-ray procedures
  • Ability to follow physician instructions and maintain patient safety throughout imaging processes
  • Strong attention to detail for accurate imaging, documentation, and data entry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interaction with patients and team members
  • Basic life support (BLS) certification preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and position patients for X-ray examinations, ensuring comfort and safety
  • Operate imaging equipment to capture high-quality radiographic images as ordered by physicians
  • Maintain accurate records of patient procedures and update electronic medical records
  • Adhere to all hospital protocols, infection control practices, and safety standards
  • Assist in upholding a clean and organized imaging department
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective diagnosis and patient care
  • Monitor equipment functionality and report maintenance needs promptly
