Qualifications:

  • Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
  • Valid and unrestricted state license as required
  • Proven experience operating X-ray imaging equipment
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and patient positioning
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to ensure accurate imaging and maintain detailed patient records

Responsibilities:

  • Perform X-ray examinations according to physician orders and facility protocols
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and understanding
  • Operate imaging equipment, adjusting settings for optimal image quality
  • Safeguard patients, staff, and self by adhering to radiation safety standards
  • Assist with patient transfers and positioning, ensuring accuracy
  • Review, process, and store imaging results in the facility’s system
  • Maintain equipment cleanliness and report maintenance needs promptly
  • Collaborate with medical staff to ensure timely and accurate diagnostic reporting
