X-Ray Technician in Kwethluk, AK

Seeking a skilled imaging professional with expertise in X-ray procedures and radiologic technology. In this contract role, you'll perform radiographic examinations on patients of all ages, ensuring quality imaging and compassionate patient care.

Schedule:

• Variable shifts
• 36 hours one week, 48 hours the next

Qualifications:

• Current ARRT certification required
• Active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Experience in X-ray imaging across diverse age groups
• Strong understanding of radiologic safety protocols and best practices
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and within a healthcare team
• Excellent communication and patient care skills

Responsibilities:

• Conduct a wide range of radiographic exams with precision and professionalism
• Position and instruct patients for optimal image capture while ensuring comfort and safety
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment in accordance with regulatory standards
• Accurately process and manage radiographic images and patient records
