Seeking a skilled imaging professional with expertise in X-ray procedures and radiologic technology. In this contract role, you'll perform radiographic examinations on patients of all ages, ensuring quality imaging and compassionate patient care.
Schedule:
- Variable shifts
- 36 hours one week, 48 hours the next
Qualifications:
- Current ARRT certification required
- Active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Experience in X-ray imaging across diverse age groups
- Strong understanding of radiologic safety protocols and best practices
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and within a healthcare team
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct a wide range of radiographic exams with precision and professionalism
- Position and instruct patients for optimal image capture while ensuring comfort and safety
- Maintain and operate imaging equipment in accordance with regulatory standards
- Accurately process and manage radiographic images and patient records
- Collaborate with physicians and clinicians to deliver timely diagnostic results
- Adhere to infection control and radiation safety guidelines at all times
- Deliver compassionate care, advocating for patient well-being throughout the imaging process
