A skilled imaging professional is sought for a contract opportunity specializing in X-ray procedures. This role involves utilizing advanced imaging techniques and collaborating with clinical staff to ensure the production of high-quality diagnostic images for patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background as a Radiologic Technologist and a keen attention to detail.

Schedule:

  • 13-week contract
  • 4 x 10-hour shifts
  • Day shift: 8:00 am – 6:30 pm

Qualifications:

  • Current and valid ARRT(R) certification
  • Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • California Fluoroscopy License required
  • Demonstrated experience in mammography
  • Previous experience operating X-ray equipment in a fast-paced healthcare setting
  • Strong communication skills and an ability to work efficiently within a team environment
  • Solid understanding of current safety protocols and radiologic best practices

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray and mammography imaging procedures as ordered by physicians
  • Assist with patient positioning and ensure patient comfort and safety during all procedures
  • Maintain accurate medical imaging records and patient documentation
  • Operate and maintain radiology equipment according to manufacturer guidelines and facility protocols
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other medical professionals to achieve timely and accurate results
  • Adhere to infection control guidelines and ensure compliance with radiation safety regulations
  • Contribute to a supportive clinical atmosphere through effective communication and teamwork
