Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as an X-ray Technologist, supporting a dynamic imaging department for a 13-week assignment. In this pivotal role, you’ll perform high-quality diagnostic X-rays and mammography images, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and accuracy at every step. This professional environment values specialized expertise and a patient-centered approach.

Schedule:

  • 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts
  • Day shift: 8:00 am – 6:30 pm

Required Credentials & Experience:

  • Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • ARRT(R) registration
  • Active California Fluoroscopy License
  • Previous experience in mammography
  • Proven skill in operating digital X-ray equipment
  • Strong commitment to patient care and safety

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce clear, high-quality radiologic and mammographic images while adhering to established protocols
  • Collaborate closely with radiologists and healthcare professionals to support seamless patient care
  • Maintain thorough documentation and accurate patient records as required
  • Ensure strict compliance with infection prevention, radiation safety, and HIPAA regulations
  • Educate and reassure patients, explaining procedures and answering questions compassionately
