A skilled imaging professional is sought for a contract opportunity specializing in X-ray procedures. This role involves utilizing advanced imaging techniques and collaborating with clinical staff to ensure the production of high-quality diagnostic images for patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background as a Radiologic Technologist and a keen attention to detail.
Schedule:
- 13-week contract
- 4 x 10-hour shifts
- Day shift: 8:00 am – 6:30 pm
Qualifications:
- Current and valid ARRT(R) certification
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- California Fluoroscopy License required
- Demonstrated experience in mammography
- Previous experience operating X-ray equipment in a fast-paced healthcare setting
- Strong communication skills and an ability to work efficiently within a team environment
- Solid understanding of current safety protocols and radiologic best practices
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray and mammography imaging procedures as ordered by physicians
- Assist with patient positioning and ensure patient comfort and safety during all procedures
- Maintain accurate medical imaging records and patient documentation
- Operate and maintain radiology equipment according to manufacturer guidelines and facility protocols
- Collaborate with radiologists and other medical professionals to achieve timely and accurate results
- Adhere to infection control guidelines and ensure compliance with radiation safety regulations
- Contribute to a supportive clinical atmosphere through effective communication and teamwork
