X-Ray Technician in Lakewood, OH

Advance your career as an X-ray Technologist in a dynamic, trauma-level 1 environment serving both adult and pediatric populations. In this contract position, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging in a fast-paced setting. Your expertise will be instrumental in supporting clinical teams and providing excellent patient care during overnight shifts.

Schedule/Hours:

• Four 10-hour shifts, nights (9:30pm–8:00am)
• Every other weekend required
• Specific days to be confirmed during the interview process

Qualifications:

• Valid ARRT certification
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Experience working in a Trauma Level 1 facility (adult and pediatric preferred)
• Skilled in the operation of EPIC, GE, Carestream systems, and 9900 OEC’s, as well as Philips imaging equipment
• Ability to remain composed and efficient in high-pressure, acute care situations

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality radiographic procedures for trauma and routine cases, ensuring accurate diagnostic images
• Adhere to established safety and infection control protocols
• Document imaging procedures thoroughly and accurately using the EPIC system
• Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team
• Maintain, operate, and troubleshoot radiology equipment as needed
• Uphold patient confidentiality and provide compassionate care throughout the imaging process
