X-Ray Tech - Lakewood, OH

Step into a vital role in the field of diagnostic imaging, utilizing your expertise as an X-ray Technologist to support patients and healthcare teams over a 13-week contract assignment. This position focuses on delivering high-quality radiologic services while working with advanced imaging equipment in a dynamic medical environment.

Schedule:

• 5 shifts per week
• 8-hour evening shifts, 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm

Qualifications:

• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, Radiography certification (ARRT(R))
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Proven experience operating X-ray imaging systems safely and efficiently
• Knowledge of radiation protection standards and infection control protocols
• Ability to interact compassionately and effectively with patients and clinical team members

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform quality radiographic examinations according to physician orders
• Ensure correct positioning and exposure factors to achieve diagnostic results
• Properly identify images and maintain accurate records within the imaging system
• Uphold radiation safety standards for patients, staff, and self
• Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and addressing concerns to promote comfort and cooperation
• Support continuous quality improvement by following policies, reporting issues, and contributing to a positive work environment
