Step into a vital healthcare role delivering advanced diagnostic imaging as a Radiologic Technologist. This 13-week assignment presents an opportunity to support trauma level 1 adult and pediatric patients with a collaborative clinical team, utilizing your expertise in X-ray procedures for NICU, PICU, surgical, ER, inpatient, and pediatric settings.
Schedule and Hours:
- Four 10-hour shifts per week (Mids: 1:30pm – 12:00am)
- Specific days will be discussed during the interview
Qualifications:
- Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required
- Valid Ohio Radiologic License in good standing
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience working in a trauma level 1 facility, especially with ER, pediatrics, NICU, and PICU settings, is highly preferred
- Skilled in portable radiography and adapting care for a wide range of patient ages and acuity levels
- Strong critical thinking and communication abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations on adult and pediatric patients across multiple clinical areas (ER, NICU, PICU, surgery, inpatient, and peds)
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary care team to provide high-quality and timely imaging
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment according to safety and quality standards
- Accurately document procedures and adhere to confidentiality guidelines
- Support urgent and emergent care with a professional, calm, and solution-focused approach
