X-Ray Technician | Lamont, California

Seeking a skilled imaging professional to provide critical diagnostic services as an X-ray Technologist. This contract role will focus on conducting high-quality radiologic imaging to support clinical teams in delivering accurate, timely patient care.

Schedule:

• 5x8 hour afternoon shifts
• Some overnight shifts may be required

Qualifications:

• Current ARRT certification in Radiography (R)
• Valid state of California Radiologic Technologist license
• Demonstrated proficiency in operating X-ray equipment and digital imaging systems
• Strong knowledge of radiation safety protocols and patient care standards
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Prior hospital or healthcare facility experience is advantageous

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of routine and specialized X-ray procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Ensure patient safety and comfort while preparing, positioning, and monitoring throughout imaging processes
• Accurately document procedures, maintain patient records, and ensure imaging quality control
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff to provide seamless patient care
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory, quality assurance, and safety standards
• Participate in maintaining a clean, sanitized, and well-equipped work environment
