Deliver essential imaging services as an X-ray Technologist, contributing your expertise in a dynamic healthcare setting for a 13-week contract assignment. This role is ideal for a skilled professional passionate about providing top-notch diagnostic care and comfortable working in an outpatient center specializing in a broad mix of cases.
Schedule:
- 5x8-hour evening shifts
- Monday through Friday, 3:00pm – 11:30pm
- No weekend or on-call requirements
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid ARRT certification required
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as an X-ray Technologist
- Proficiency with GE OEC c-arms
- Hands-on experience with ortho, urology, spine, gastroenterology, and pain clinic cases (outpatient focus)
- Familiarity with portable imaging equipment (GE and Shimadzu)
- Working knowledge of EPIC electronic health record system
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures, ensuring high-quality images and patient safety at all times
- Operate and maintain radiologic equipment, including fixed and portable units, adhering to established protocols
- Support a variety of clinical areas including orthopedics, urology, spine, gastroenterology, and pain management
- Accurately document procedures and update patient records in EPIC
- Adhere to infection control and patient privacy guidelines
- Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and patients for optimal care delivery
