X-Ray Technician in Lewisburg, PA

Deliver essential imaging services as an X-ray Technologist, contributing your expertise in a dynamic healthcare setting for a 13-week contract assignment. This role is ideal for a skilled professional passionate about providing top-notch diagnostic care and comfortable working in an outpatient center specializing in a broad mix of cases.

Schedule:

• 5x8-hour evening shifts
• Monday through Friday, 3:00pm – 11:30pm
• No weekend or on-call requirements

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid ARRT certification required
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as an X-ray Technologist
• Proficiency with GE OEC c-arms
• Hands-on experience with ortho, urology, spine, gastroenterology, and pain clinic cases (outpatient focus)
• Familiarity with portable imaging equipment (GE and Shimadzu)
• Working knowledge of EPIC electronic health record system

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures, ensuring high-quality images and patient safety at all times
• Operate and maintain radiologic equipment, including fixed and portable units, adhering to established protocols
• Support a variety of clinical areas including orthopedics, urology, spine, gastroenterology, and pain management
• Accurately document procedures and update patient records in EPIC
• Adhere to infection control and patient privacy guidelines
• Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and patients for optimal care delivery
