Working as a traveling Imaging – X-ray Technologist in this dynamic hospital setting means gaining invaluable hands-on experience in a Level II trauma center serving a diverse patient population—including adult/pediatric ER, OR, NICU, and more. With 500+ beds and advanced radiology technology (Samsung, Carestream, Siemens, Phillips X-ray equipment; GE OEC c-arms; an O-arm), you’ll collaborate with top-tier teams that value both efficiency and patient care, affording an exceptional opportunity for professional growth and networking.
Schedule/Hours:
- 1x9.5-hour, 8:00 pm–5:30 am Night (Friday)
- 2x12-hour, 7:00 pm–7:30 am Nights (Saturday & Sunday)
- 33.5-hour contract
Key Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year experience (2 years strongly preferred)
- OR experience required
- BLS and ARRT credentials
- Proficiency with PACS, Portables, C-Arm, and Contrast administration
- EPIC experience required; Interlad experience preferred
- Experience in fast-paced, central departments handling adult/pediatric ER, OR, and NICU
- Adaptability and high-level communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform and interpret routine and advanced diagnostic imaging procedures (lumbar punctures, myelograms, fluoroscopy, and intraoperative imaging)
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams across various hospital departments
- Operate modern imaging equipment and maintain compliance standards
- Provide compassionate, efficient patient care during exams across multiple areas
