This assignment provides hands-on experience with state-of-the-art imaging technology while collaborating with leading clinicians and diverse teams, making it an invaluable addition to your resume.
This role ensures exposure to a wide range of advanced diagnostic and surgical imaging procedures. You’ll be an integral part of a fast-paced department, working with Samsung, Carestream, Siemens, Phillips X-ray equipment, and GE OEC/O-arm devices. Expect to enhance both your technical abilities and leadership skills as you respond to emergencies, specialized exams, and cross-unit deployments—while learning from styles of workflow management found only in major trauma centers.
Schedule:
- 1 shift: Friday, 8:00 PM – 5:30 AM (9.5 hours)
- 2 shifts: Saturday & Sunday, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12 hours each)
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Active ARRT credential and BLS certification
- Minimum of 1 year imaging experience; 2+ years strongly preferred
- Must have previous OR and fluoro experience
- Solid background working with PACS, portable imaging, C-Arm, and contrast media
- Proficiency with EPIC required; Interlad experience preferred
- Experience in Level II trauma settings a major asset; first-time travelers encouraged
- Must be comfortable working nights in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of X-ray and intraoperative imaging procedures across ER, endoscopy, surgical, inpatient, outpatient, and NICU areas
- Support trauma and emergency teams with accurate, rapid imaging
- Operate advanced digital radiography systems and participate in fluoroscopic studies
- Maintain strong, professional communication with multidisciplinary care teams
