X-Ray Technician | Lithonia, Georgia

A contract opportunity is available for an experienced X-ray Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging services and patient care. Flexible schedules include two available shifts: Weekend Nights (Saturday, Sunday, Monday, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) and Weekday Evenings (Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM). Candidates should be ready to begin as soon as possible and be prepared to maintain reliable attendance, with minimal time off requested.

Key Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) program with active ARRT certification
• Current registration and necessary state licensure to practice as an X-ray Tech
• Minimum of 1 year hands-on experience with hospital-based general radiography
• Strong knowledge of X-ray imaging protocols, radiation safety standards, and equipment operation
• Ability to adapt quickly in a busy patient care environment and deliver compassionate, accurate imaging services
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Willingness to work the designated shifts and maintain strong attendance

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and specialized X-ray examinations according to physician orders and established protocols
• Ensure clear, diagnostic-quality images while maximizing patient comfort and safety
• Accurately document patient information and maintain proper records
• Collaborate with medical staff to support interdisciplinary patient care
• Ensure compliance with hospital, state, and federal safety regulations
• Help maintain equipment and work areas to uphold high clinical standards
