X-Ray Technician - Lorain, Ohio

Step into a rewarding position supporting patient care with your expertise in medical imaging. We’re seeking a skilled technologist to provide high-quality diagnostic X-ray services in a hospital environment, working with a wide variety of patients including outpatients, inpatients, and those in the Emergency Department.

Schedule:

• Rotating shifts which may include: 10:30am-7:00pm, 1:00pm-9:30pm, 2:00pm-10:30pm, 3:00pm-11:00pm, 5:30pm-1:00am, 11:00pm-7:00am
• Every other weekend: 8:30am-5:00pm
• Potential for holiday shifts
• 13-week assignment

Qualifications:

• Active ARRT certification required
• Valid Ohio Radiologic License
• Current BLS certification
• Previous experience as a Radiologic Technologist or X-ray Tech in a hospital setting is highly desirable
• Familiarity with portable imaging, and openness to fluoroscopy and surgical/OR imaging preferred
• Strong communication, adaptability to various clinical scenarios, and ability to manage multiple priorities

• Produce high-quality diagnostic X-rays for hospital patients across departments
• Perform portable imaging as needed, including for critical care and surgical cases
• Maintain equipment and adhere to all regulatory and safety standards
• Communicate effectively with patients and care teams to ensure best outcomes
• Adapt to a dynamic environment and variable work schedules
• Contribute to a collaborative team, ensuring accurate records and workflow efficiency
