X-Ray Technician | Lorain, Ohio

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced X-ray Technologist or Radiologic Technologist to support diagnostic imaging services on a contract basis. This position is essential to providing high-quality patient care, working with a variety of patients in a hospital environment.

Schedule/Hours:

• Rotating shifts may include: 10:30am-7:00pm, 1:00pm-9:30pm, 2:00pm-10:30pm, 3:00pm-11:00pm, 5:30pm-1:00am, and 11:00pm-7:00am
• Every other weekend: 8:30am-5:00pm
• Holiday coverage may be required

Qualifications:

• Current BLS certification
• Active ARRT registration
• Valid Ohio state license for Radiologic Technology
• Previous experience performing diagnostic X-rays, portable imaging, and working in a hospital setting preferred

Responsibilities:

• Acquire high-quality diagnostic X-ray images for outpatients, inpatients, and Emergency Department patients, following physician orders and standardized protocols
• Support portable imaging, fluoroscopy, and surgery/OR imaging needs as scheduled
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, explaining procedures and positioning patients appropriately
• Document patient information and maintain accurate records in accordance with hospital policies
• Collaborate effectively with providers, nursing staff, and other team members to ensure excellent patient care
• Participate in department orientation and adhere to all compliance and safety standards

$1,936 - $2,048/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
