Step into a dynamic radiology environment where your X-ray imaging skills are valued and your professional growth is supported. As an Imaging – X-ray Technologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services in a facility featuring multiple suites: one ER x-ray room, three on the main floor, one in outpatient, and four portables, averaging 180 exams daily. You’ll serve a diverse patient population, including inpatient transplant, cardiac, and critical care cases, as well as outpatient athletes, ER, and trauma (stroke, hand trauma).

Schedule/Hours:

  • Options for three 12-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts per week
  • Weekend rotation required; 12-hour shifts on weekends as scheduled
  • Some overnight weekday call and 12-hour call shifts on weekends (day or night); 1-hour response time
  • Holiday coverage if scheduled
  • Up to 7 days of approved time off

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year of radiologic technologist experience
  • BLS and ARRT certifications, active state license
  • First-time travelers are welcome
  • Strong C-arm and portable X-ray proficiency; O-arm experience preferred, or willingness to learn
  • Attention to detail and adaptability for all areas, including OR float coverage

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform accurate and timely X-ray examinations on inpatients, outpatients, and urgent/emergent cases
  • Operate Shimadzu and GE portables, Carestream ER, OEC C-arms, and O-arms
  • Utilize Cerner EMR and McKesson PACS (Change Healthcare)
  • Collaborate with supervisors and fellow Rad Techs for seamless patient care
  • Ensure readiness to float throughout the hospital as needed
