X-Ray Technician - Madison, WI

Required Schedule/Hours:

• Very flexible shifts and hours available

Qualifications:

• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Demonstrated proficiency in X-ray imaging procedures
• Must reside more than 75 miles away
• Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and specialized X-ray procedures according to physicians’ orders and established protocols
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the process
• Accurately maintain patient records and update imaging documentation within the electronic health record
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment as needed, ensuring optimal performance and safety
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and infection control protocols
