X-Ray Technologist in Martinsville, VA

Schedule:

• Orientation sessions are held bi-weekly on Tuesdays

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Proficient in diagnostic Imaging, specializing in X-ray procedures
• Valid ARRT certification or equivalent, meeting federal and state requirements
• Demonstrated competency with both fixed and portable X-ray equipment
• Strong understanding of patient positioning and radiologic safety procedures
• Ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Prior hospital-based Imaging experience is preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Obtain quality diagnostic X-ray images as ordered by healthcare providers
• Assist physicians during imaging procedures to ensure accurate diagnosis and patient safety
• Consistently follow protocols regarding infection control and patient privacy
• Provide compassionate care and clear information to patients during procedures
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards
• Accurately complete and submit all required documentation and records
