Schedule:
- Orientation sessions are held bi-weekly on Tuesdays
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Proficient in diagnostic Imaging, specializing in X-ray procedures
- Valid ARRT certification or equivalent, meeting federal and state requirements
- Demonstrated competency with both fixed and portable X-ray equipment
- Strong understanding of patient positioning and radiologic safety procedures
- Ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Prior hospital-based Imaging experience is preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Obtain quality diagnostic X-ray images as ordered by healthcare providers
- Assist physicians during imaging procedures to ensure accurate diagnosis and patient safety
- Consistently follow protocols regarding infection control and patient privacy
- Provide compassionate care and clear information to patients during procedures
- Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards
- Accurately complete and submit all required documentation and records
