A new opportunity is available for an experienced radiologic technologist to provide diagnostic imaging services on a contract basis. This assignment is approximately 13 weeks in duration and requires expertise with X-ray imaging in diverse clinical environments, serving emergency, outpatient, inpatient, and perioperative patients.
Schedule/Hours:
- Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm
- On-call every other week for surgical cases
Qualifications:
- Valid certification or licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
- Proven skills operating X-ray equipment in healthcare settings
- Ability to handle a broad range of imaging cases, including ER, outpatient and inpatient exams, pain management procedures, operating room cases, and fluoroscopy
- Experience with CT imaging is a plus
- Current BLS certification (or the ability to obtain prior to start)
- Adaptable and able to function independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with medical staff and patients
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality X-ray studies while following all safety and imaging protocols
- Provide imaging support in surgery, including fluoroscopy and pain procedure cases
- Conduct imaging for a variety of hospital departments, adapting to emergent or routine case needs
- Respond to on-call surgical imaging needs every other week, ensuring timely, accurate diagnostics
- Maintain equipment, stock supplies, and adhere to compliance standards and infection control policies
- Accurately document patient procedures and work collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams

$2,064 - $2,176/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
