X-Ray Technician - Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania

An experienced Radiologic Technologist is needed for a 13-week contract to support a dynamic imaging department. This role involves delivering high-quality X-ray services in both general and operating suite settings, utilizing specialized equipment and collaborating closely with surgical and clinical teams.

Schedule:

• 5x8-hour evening shifts
• Monday through Friday, 3:00pm – 11:00pm
• Potential on-call requirement one day per week

Key Qualifications:

• Active ARRT(R) certification
• Current Pennsylvania Radiologic Technologist license
• BLS certification
• Proficiency operating C-arm, O-arm, and portable imaging units within the operating suite
• Demonstrated skill in general X-ray procedures and patient positioning
• Strong understanding of radiation safety practices
• Effective communication abilities and team collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging as requested by medical staff, maintaining accuracy and safety
• Operate C-arm, O-arm, and portable radiologic equipment during surgical procedures
• Accurately document imaging procedures and patient records in accordance with established protocols
• Provide compassionate patient care before, during, and after imaging procedures
• Maintain cleanliness, calibration, and readiness of imaging equipment
• Adhere to all department safety, infection control, and regulatory requirements
• Participate in evening shift coverage and scheduled on-call rotation as needed
