X-Ray Technician | Medina, Ohio

Step into an essential role providing expert imaging services as a Radiologic Technologist specializing in X-ray. This contract opportunity spans 13 weeks, making it ideal for dedicated professionals with a passion for delivering quality patient care.

Schedule:

• 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts
• Evenings, 3pm–11pm
• Specific days to be confirmed during the interview

Qualifications:

• Current certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Demonstrated competency in performing X-ray procedures
• Experience working in fast-paced healthcare settings preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to safety protocols and patient confidentiality

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality X-ray imaging examinations as ordered by physicians to assist in diagnosis and treatment
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining the process and ensuring comfort
• Operate and calibrate X-ray equipment according to established protocols
• Adhere strictly to radiology safety standards, including patient shielding and exposure controls
• Accurately maintain patient records, imaging data, and documentation
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals for optimal patient outcomes
• Remain current with continuing education and advances in radiologic technology
