This opportunity seeks an experienced X-ray Technologist skilled in imaging, including proficiency with C-arm and portable X-ray equipment. The position involves working in multiple X-ray suites within the hospital and outpatient facilities, supporting a variety of patient types and diagnoses ranging from transplant care to trauma.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform an average of 180 imaging exams per day across ER, inpatient units (transplant, cardiac, critical care, OR), and outpatient settings
- Utilize advanced equipment such as Shimadzu and GE portables, Carestream ER systems, OEC C-arms, and O-arms, with willingness to learn new technologies
- Provide imaging services in the main hospital and float to different departments, including the OR
- Maintain detailed and accurate imaging records using Cerner EMR and McKesson (Change Healthcare) PACS
- Respond to on-call duties with a one-hour response time, primarily for critical staffing needs
- Participate in weekend rotations with 12-hour shifts, and observe holiday work expectations as scheduled
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of radiologic technologist experience; first-time travelers are encouraged to apply
- Valid state license and national certifications including ARRT and BLS
- Strong attention to detail and proficiency with portable and C-arm imaging techniques; O-arm experience preferred but not required
Schedule/Hours:
- Options include 3 twelve-hour shifts or 4 ten-hour shifts per week
- Weekend rotations and on-call shifts are required, with flexibility to accommodate optimal time off
- Up to 7 days of requested time off (RTO) may be approved
