Bring your imaging expertise to a dynamic healthcare team, serving a busy environment with a diverse patient population averaging over 8,000 exams monthly. This contract role offers comprehensive exposure to inpatient, outpatient, ER, trauma, and OR work. You'll collaborate with a knowledgeable staff and leverage cutting-edge equipment including Shimadzu, Konica, Fuji, Carestream, GE, and Phillips C-arms, as well as the Medtronic O-arm.
Schedule/Hours:
- Flexible scheduling: Option of 4x10-hour or 3x12-hour shifts
- Variable weekend rotation (every 3rd weekend if scheduled)
- Holiday shifts included in rotation
- No on-call required
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of X-ray technologist experience
- Current ARRT certification and BLS required
- Active Kentucky state license (KBMIRT)
- Experience with general X-ray, ortho, trauma, portables
- OR and O-arm experience preferred (not required)
- Comfort floating between ER, OR, and portable assignments
- First-time travelers are welcome
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform X-ray imaging for a wide range of cases: inpatient, outpatient, ER, OR, trauma, and portable studies
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including hospitalists and intensivists available 24/7
- Utilize the Cerner EMR for accurate documentation and image tracking
- Support rapid patient turnover and quality care with 13-strong 1st shift techs and robust support from front desk, phlebotomy, and IV/VAT teams
- Maintain high standards of infection control and patient safety, strictly adhering to department protocols

$2,064 - $2,176/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
