Advance your career as an X-ray Technologist by providing expert imaging services to patients of all ages. In this contract role, your skills are vital to supporting diagnostic procedures and ensuring high-quality patient care.
Schedule/Hours:
- Variable schedule with 36 hours one week and 48 hours the following week
Qualifications:
- Current ARRT certification
- BLS certification required
- Demonstrated competency in performing X-ray examinations
- Previous experience in imaging, specifically X-ray, is highly preferred
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills when working with patients ranging from pediatric to geriatric populations
Responsibilities:
- Conduct radiographic examinations following established protocols and physician orders
- Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process
- Accurately position patients and operate digital or analog X-ray equipment
- Maintain documentation and imaging records in compliance with facility guidelines and privacy regulations
- Collaborate with radiologists, other technologists, and healthcare professionals for optimal patient outcomes
- Adhere to infection control and safety procedures at all times
- Perform equipment checks and report malfunctions as needed
