X-Ray Technician - Napakiak, AK

Schedule/Hours:

• Variable schedule with 36 hours one week and 48 hours the following week

Qualifications:

• Current ARRT certification
• BLS certification required
• Demonstrated competency in performing X-ray examinations
• Previous experience in imaging, specifically X-ray, is highly preferred
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills when working with patients ranging from pediatric to geriatric populations

Responsibilities:

• Conduct radiographic examinations following established protocols and physician orders
• Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process
• Accurately position patients and operate digital or analog X-ray equipment
• Maintain documentation and imaging records in compliance with facility guidelines and privacy regulations
• Collaborate with radiologists, other technologists, and healthcare professionals for optimal patient outcomes
• Adhere to infection control and safety procedures at all times
• Perform equipment checks and report malfunctions as needed
