Travel X-Ray Technician - Newark, New Jersey

This travel assignment offers a June start and the chance to work in a large, fast-paced facility with 900 beds—an environment that will challenge your skills and enhance your adaptability. You’ll engage with a diverse patient population and collaborate with accomplished healthcare professionals, broadening your expertise with a variety of imaging practices and leadership styles.

Schedule/Hours:

• 6:00 pm – 7:00 am
• Rotating, 7 weeks on, no call required
• 13-week contract

Responsibilities:

• Perform X-ray imaging and radiologic technologist duties, adhering to facility protocols.
• Utilize GE equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
• Independently manage imaging tasks in both general and OR settings.
• Support patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures.
• Collaborate effectively with clinical teams in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least 18 months of hands-on X-ray/radiologic technologist experience.
• Proficiency with GE imaging equipment.
• Prior experience working in the operating room (OR).
• Ability to work independently in a large hospital setting.
• Current, unencumbered licensure/certification as required.
