Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of diagnostic X-ray procedures using digital and conventional imaging equipment.
- Properly position patients, adjust equipment, and ensure image clarity for accurate diagnostic outcomes.
- Document patient history, procedures performed, and maintain accurate records in accordance with facility protocols.
- Maintain infection control and radiation safety standards, ensuring the well-being of patients and staff.
- Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and prioritizing patient comfort and safety.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to support prompt diagnosis and patient care.
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
- Active ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required.
- Valid state radiology license as applicable.
- Proficiency in both digital and traditional film X-ray technology.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Recent hands-on clinical experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
