Key Qualifications:

  • Current certification or registry as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent)
  • Valid state licensure as required
  • Demonstrated experience performing digital X-ray procedures
  • Knowledge of radiology equipment operation, safety protocols, and patient positioning
  • Strong interpersonal skills for patient interaction and collaboration with medical staff
  • Ability to follow physician instructions and adapt to dynamic clinical scenarios
  • Basic life support (BLS) certification preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, position, and immobilize patients for X-ray imaging
  • Operate digital and traditional radiology equipment to capture quality diagnostic images
  • Maintain detailed patient records and ensure accuracy of imaging documentation
  • Monitor equipment functionality and report any issues to the appropriate personnel
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and infection control standards
  • Work closely with radiologists and physicians to provide optimal care
  • Support a clean and organized work environment, maintaining readiness for varying caseloads
